VISIT OF TOMASZ "TOIVI" BLATT On November the 5th, Tomasz 'Toivi' Blatt visited Museum Stutthof. He is one of few prisoners who survived the Camp in Sobibor, and also one of organizers of successfull collective escape from that camp in October, 1943. The famous film "Escape from Sobibor" originated from his book and memories of that time. T. Blatt met with the director of the Museum, visited the area of the former KL Stutthof and spoke with young people from high school on a special meeting where excerpts of "Escape from Sobibor" had been presented. |
