News: Annual celebration

On the 63-rd anniversary of the World War 2 beginning, first transport of prisoners to KL Stutthof and deportations of Gdynia citizens - on Sunday, the eighth of September, 2.00 p.m. the patriotic and religious celebration dedicated to the Memory of War and Stutthof's Victims took place in the Stutthof Museum.

PROGRAM OF CELEBRATIONS:

14.00 - Beginning of celebrations

  • Greetings of celebration participants
  • Oratory of Gdynia President, Wojciech Szczurek
  • Oratory of former Stutthof prisoner
  • Memory Appeal
  • Fire of the Salute
  • Laying of flowers and lighting fires

The Mass for martyrs and victims of Stutthof was directed by bishop Andrzej Śliwiński with participation of mixed choruses "Lutnia - Rezonans" from Malbork under direction of Wawrzyniec Zamkowski. After the Mass, meeting under the cross near the crematory and the prayer.
